300 people were ready to pay before the platform existed. So I skipped Figma.

A cohort-based backend engineering course with no product behind it. 300+ enrolled, ~200 returning across four months. First cohort sold out.

We built an HR platform. Two pilots told us they wanted a CRM.

Six modules, eight roles, an access model where nobody can both approve and execute a payment. Two pilots said attendance and leave weren’t the expensive problem. I stopped and rewrote the product.

I built the tracker I needed, then taught it to fill itself in.

A job application board, three versions deep. V3 runs a scheduled agent that finds ten matched listings, scores each one, and updates the board from my inbox.

Five products taken 0→1, from first sketch to shipped. I’m most useful where there’s no playbook yet — early products, real ownership, engineers in the room. I design in the browser as much as in Figma, and I’d rather ship a rough thing and watch people use it than polish a thing nobody has touched.

Most of this was made over weekends, with procrastination, overthinking, and a cat named Heisenberg on the keyboard. He supervises. He is not helpful.

Email is fastest. I reply quickly. Heisenberg does not.
